On March 27-28, Syunik Regional Operational Management Center received alerts about rockfalls. Combat units from the fire-rescue squads of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went to the scene.
It was found that the rockfalls occurred on the 15th km of the Tatev-Ltsen highway, on the 7th km of the Kapan-Kajaran highway (traffic became one-way) and on the road section leading from Halidzor to "Devil's Bridge" (it was closed).
Responding promptly to the situation, the rescuers, in cooperation with the Police Patrol Service and "CHANSHIN" employees, carried out border demarcation and stone removal works in the mentioned areas, based on the situation. Traffic has been restored.
