The Houthis have threatened to intervene in the Middle East conflict

Yemen's Ansar Allah (Houthi) rebel movement has issued a warning to the government of Saudi Arabia and threatened to intervene in the Middle East conflict.

"I declare that we will unhesitatingly fulfill our duty of Islamic jihad against the tyrants of our time, the Jews, the Zionists and their American henchmen," said the leader of the movement, Abdel Malik al-Housi, as quoted by Yemen's SABA news agency.

During his speech, he also called on Riyadh to stop its hostility towards the Yemeni people and accept the principle of neighborliness.
