Law enforcement officers searched the house of the young man who threw firecrackers at the NSS building. "People"

"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:

"According to the information we received, the law enforcement officers took a phone and a computer from the house of the detained young man, but they did not find anything related to the criminal proceedings of terrorism. ArmLur.am had already reported that on March 6 of this year, Raffi Mandalyan, a resident of Erebuni administrative district of Yerevan, born in 1994, threw firecrackers at the administrative building of the RA National Security Service.

ArmLur.am's sources close to the law enforcement agencies reveal new, exclusive details about the incident, revealing the motives of the young man's action.

In particular, according to ArmLur.am information, Raffi Mandalyan, the citizen who threw the flammable bottle, testified to the law enforcement officers, explaining that his action was due to deep anger and disappointment.

He stated that he is concerned about the state of security of the homeland, and, in his opinion, there is indifference and silence in the society regarding this issue.

According to Mandalyan, with his action he tried to show that "everyone is not indifferent". His goal was to break, according to his wording, the public silence and draw attention to the issue that a section of citizens is concerned about the future of the country. According to the same sources, he deliberately went to the building of the National Security Service during non-working hours, trying to avoid human harm and at the same time ensure the publicity of his message.

According to his explanation, he took that step by "going to self-sacrifice", just so that what he had to say would reach the public. not everyone is indifferent to the fate of the motherland. It is also noteworthy that after throwing the bottles, Raffi Mandalyan did not try to escape from the scene. He stood on the street and waited for the law enforcement officers. He also raised his concerns in the court, asking the audience: "The motherland is in danger, aren't you worried?" It should also be noted that the detained Raffi Mandalyan is currently in the "Nubarashen" penitentiary.
