Today, March 22, a major car accident took place in Yerevan. Around 8:00 p.m., "Mercedes G" and "BMW" cars collided on Arshakunyats Avenue, as a result of which "Mercedes G" ended up on the pedestrian sidewalk, writes Shamshyan.com.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene, 2 people were taken to the hospital as a result of the accident. Citizens were the first to come to the aid of the injured and according to the reports of the citizens, the duty teams of emergency doctors acted promptly and provided first aid on the spot until the injured were taken to the hospital.
Due to the fact of the accident, criminal proceedings have been initiated in the investigation department, where the identity of the car owners, drivers and injured people is being ascertained. According to the investigator's instructions, the cars will be moved to the special guarded area of the Yerevan Police Station.
