A few weeks ago, the deputy speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, went to Saghmosavank to admonish priest Ter Oshin to "get your mind together." The day before, he learned from a couple he knew who wanted to get married that the priest said to those getting married. "Kavor should be a normal guy, a guy with tasib, I mean, he shouldn't be a CP."
"No priest has the right to discriminate against a person in the church due to his political views or party affiliation, and everyone in RA, in any field that does not imply political discretion, is obliged not to discriminate against people, and all priests must remember that they serve the people in the church," the NA vice president announced and marched to Saghmosavank.
He also reminded the priest about the Criminal Code, essentially threatening him, because he thinks that the priest is sowing division with his behavior. The behavior of the deputy speaker continues to be discussed behind the scenes of the authorities.
We were told that Fr. Oshin performed Rubinyan's wedding on time, and even in the CP team, many people were surprised how Rubinyan could demand an account from the priest who gave a spiritual blessing to the formation of his family, who is a mediator for conveying God's blessing. Father Oshin confirmed in the conversation with us that Rubinyan's coronation was carried out by himself.
We asked if Rubinyan reminded him of the Criminal Code at that time, did any process take place in these weeks?
"Nothing happened, I live peacefully and quietly," said Father Oshin.
