Today, on March 14, the rescuers of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Hrazdan Fire and Rescue Squad of the same department, headed by the head of the department Gevorg Sedrakyan, the deputy head of the department Stepan Stepanyan, the commander of the Hrazdan Fire and Rescue Squad Armen Simonyan, and the water rescuer of the special rescue squad of the Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Department Vahe Melkonyan continued the search for the body of a woman who had been searching for 4 days in the Tsovinar reservoir in Hrazdan city.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the spot, as a result of several hours of search, the lifeguard found the body of 72-year-old Amalya S. and brought it to the shore. The photojournalist reports that the body was found almost 350-400 meters away from the place of the drowned woman's hat, in the lake, at a depth of about 1.5 meters.
At this moment, the information was transferred to the Kotayk regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigative team arrived, led by the head of the department Hovhannes Chalabyan, the deputy head of the department Ashot Melkumyan and the investigator in charge of the day.
As the photojournalist reported earlier, on March 13, in Hrazdan city of Kotayk marz, in the well-known "Tsovinar" reservoir, the search for the woman who drowned in the said reservoir 3 days ago, according to preliminary information, continued.
Rescuers and water rescuers Vahe Melkonyan and Armen Simonyan from Sevan also continued the search, which was joined by the relatives and friends of the wanted woman from the very first day. The work of the rescuers was led on the spot by the head of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Gevorg Sedrakyan and his deputy Stepan Stepanyan. The latter was also carrying out search operations with a group of fire-rescuers on the opposite side of the bridge, in the water of the river and in the coastal area.
