The Pentagon. The US is deploying anti-aircraft defenses for operations against Iran

The US military is moving additional anti-aircraft defenses from Europe for use in the operation against Iran. This was announced by the supreme commander of NATO's allied forces in Europe, US General Alexus Grinkevich.

"I used some of our air defenses in the Middle East, if you will, in the Near East, in the Eastern Mediterranean to protect our NATO allies," the military commander said during a hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee. He is also the head of the US European Command.

He answered in the affirmative to the next question, whether additional anti-aircraft assets are being transferred from other theaters of operations to the Middle East. "Yes, that's true," answered the general. He did not provide any data on the number of anti-aircraft systems being transported to the conflict zone with Iran.
