A powerful earthquake took place in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, the intensity of which seismologists estimated at 4.1 magnitude. As a result of the earthquake, residents of several districts left their homes in panic, the correspondent of "RIA Novosti" reported.
According to the seismological authorities of Turkey, the tremors were recorded in Haymana province, south of Ankara. The center of the earthquake was located at a depth of 7.74 kilometers, tremors were felt in several regions of the capital.
