The officers of the Department of Economic and Cybercrime Prevention of the Ministry of Interior of Qatar have arrested 313 people of various nationalities for filming and spreading information about the recent events, including the actions of the air defense forces.
"313 people were arrested for shooting and distributing unauthorized videos, spreading misleading information and news, as well as spreading content aimed at inciting public unrest," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Earlier, the ministry warned against filming, publishing or spreading news about the situation, urging the public to get information only from approved official sources.
