For the fourth week already, doctors are alarming that after the introduction of universal health insurance, their workload has increased significantly, but they have received lower salaries compared to previous months.
And the salary of some has decreased by about 50 percent. The Ministry of Health does not provide a clear explanation as to what the calculation is, why the salary of medical workers has decreased. The other day, representatives of NGOs in the field held a protest in front of the National Assembly, asking the parliamentary factions to pay attention to the issue of salaries of medical workers.
We were informed that the "Armenia" bloc decided to hold a working discussion on Friday, to invite representatives of a number of MCs. An invitation was also sent to the Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, HRD Anahit Manasyan to discuss the created absurd situation.
