Amendments to the Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan have been approved

Amendments were made to the Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan. According to APA, the relevant decree was signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

Two new articles (Article 3-1 and Article 28-1) were added to the Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan, one article was removed (Article 5), and changes were made to a number of articles and the preamble.

It is reported that references to the Moscow and Kars agreements of 1921 have been removed from the Constitution of Nakhichevan.
