Starmer revealed how the situation around Iran could affect the UK

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has admitted that the escalation of the situation in the Middle East is likely to affect the cost of living in Great Britain.

"We are conducting cross-agency analysis, assessing risks, monitoring and discussing joint actions with our international partners to minimize the impact on people and businesses.

"The longer this goes on, the bigger the potential impact on our economy, every person and every business," Starmer said during a visit to the London Social Centre. The announcement was broadcast live on local TV channels.

Earlier, RAC, one of the largest car service companies in Great Britain, reported that the price of diesel fuel in Great Britain has already increased by more than 4% since the escalation of the situation around Iran.

In the same period, gasoline prices increased by almost 3%.
