US President Donald Trump has announced that the United States first intends to end the military action against Iran, and then start developing further actions against Cuba.
"Marco, you're doing a great job with a place called Cuba," he said at a White House event.
The head of the American administration addressed Marco Rubio, who is also the US Secretary of State and its national security advisor.
"What is happening with Cuba is amazing, but we want to finish this first," he said, referring to the military campaign against Iran.
As The Atlantic recently reported, citing sources, the US leadership has discussed military action against Cuba, believing that similar actions against Venezuela and Iran lead to the results desired by Washington.
According to the publication, the American president and members of his administration feel that "they are doing the right thing and that everything is going according to plan."
