The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier of the US Navy was hit by four Iranian missiles, the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced, Tasnim reports.
"As part of the proud actions of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the continuation of the strikes against American-Zionist targets, the aircraft carrier of the US Navy "Abraham Lincoln" was attacked by four ballistic missiles. The powerful attacks of the Iranian armed forces on the exhausted military body of the enemy have entered a new phase, and the land and the sea will become a graveyard for terrorist-aggressors to an even greater extent," said the statement of the IRGC of Iran.
It was also reported yesterday that the aircraft carrier was shot down by Iranian forces.
