In the Charentsavan investigative department of Kotayk Marz Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, criminal proceedings were initiated yesterday, February 22, on the fact of the hit-and-run accident that took place on the 116 km section of the Ijevan-Sevan-Yerevan highway. As part of the initiated criminal proceedings, it was found out that 43-year-old Ashot M., a resident of Gegharkunik marz, while driving a "GAZ 53" tow truck, collided with a "Mercedes" car parked on the right side of the road, then ran over Hrayr I., 20, a resident of Kotayk marz, and Yeghiazar, 35, a resident of Gegharkunik marz. H., as a result of which they were transferred to different medical centers.
According to Shamshyan.com, today, on February 23, an alert was received from the "Yerevan Medical Center" to the Charentsavan police department that Hrayr I., who was taken to them, died without regaining consciousness.
