YouGov. 82% of Britons support removing former Prince Andrew from line of succession

According to a YouGov poll, the majority of British respondents believe that the younger brother of King Charles III, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, should be excluded from the line of succession to the British throne. The poll of 7,000 people found that 82% believed the former Prince of York could no longer claim the British crown.

Six percent of respondents had the opposite opinion, while 12% were undecided.

Mountbatten-Windsor is currently eighth in line to the throne, behind her cousin, the king's eldest son William, Prince of Wales, and his three children, and her second cousin, the king's youngest son, Prince Harry, and his two children.
