Russia is consistently against the Cuban fuel embargo, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President.
"Russia is consistently against the blockade of the island, like many countries of the world," Peskov told reporters. The lack of fuel in Cuba is due to the US energy embargo. Russian Ambassador to Havana Victor Coronelli told RIA Novosti in early February that Russia will continue to supply oil to Cuba.
