US President Donald Trump called the upcoming tripartite negotiations on the settlement of the Ukraine issue in Geneva important and expressed confidence that they will be clear. "Well, these are major negotiations. They will be very clear," the American leader said on February 16, commenting on the plans for the Geneva meetings in a conversation with journalists on his plane.
The American leader was returning to Washington from his estate in West Palm Beach, Florida. The source previously told TASS that on February 17-18 in Geneva, the parties to the negotiations on the Ukrainian settlement will try to reach an agreement.
The meetings in Geneva will continue the tripartite consultations between Russia, the USA and Ukraine, the first round of which took place in Abu Dhabi on January 23-24, and the second on February 4-5, also in the UAE capital.
