Turkey is counting on the draft peace treaty for Ukraine

Turkey will closely follow the negotiation path planned for Ukraine in Geneva and considers it important to continue the dialogue in order for the parties to reach a draft peace agreement, a Turkish diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.

Negotiations between Russia, the USA and Ukraine are scheduled for February 17-18 in Geneva. "Of course, we will carefully follow the negotiations. The negotiations between Russia, the United States and Ukraine are important for the continuation of the dialogue, which could lead to a draft peace treaty. We hope that the parties will reach it," said the source. According to him, Ankara consistently supports diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the conflict and expects that the upcoming consultations will be constructive.
