The issue of energy ceasefire will be discussed in the negotiations on Ukraine in Geneva

The issue of the energy ceasefire will be raised at the peace talks in Ukraine to be held in Geneva, a western source told TASS.

"Undoubtedly, the issue of energy ceasefire will be raised," the source of the agency said. On February 6, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held talks with Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, who arrived in the Russian capital as the acting president of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), as well as with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu.

The main topic of the negotiations was the search for ways to overcome the current deep crisis of the organization. The OSCE representatives also discussed the organization's role and its potential to facilitate dialogue to end the conflict in Ukraine.
