Ukraine needs a reliable air defense system to protect itself from Russian strikes. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said.
“In this week of February alone, they launched about 1,300 attack drones, more than 1,200 guided bombs and 50 missiles, almost all ballistic, into Ukraine. Today, the enemy targeted Odesa, Donetsk and Sumy regions, as well as Zaporizhia. As before, the main target of these strikes is the energy sector. The Russians are deliberately combining strikes to destroy our production facilities, substations and power grid," Zelensky said.
According to him, most of the strikes were prevented, but Ukraine needs uninterrupted air defense.
"In Munich, we agreed with the leaders of the Berlin format on specific packages of energy and military aid for Ukraine until February 24. I am grateful to our partners for their willingness to help, and we expect all supplies to arrive quickly. "Ukraine needs air defense every day to deprive Russia of the levers of terrorism," Zelensky said.
