US President Donald Trump is ready to meet with Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.
"I am sure that if Ayatollah Khamenei told tomorrow that he wants to meet the president, the president would agree. Not because he agrees with the Ayatollah, but because he sees it as a way to solve the problems in the world and does not consider a meeting with anyone as a concession," he said in an interview with Bloomberg on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
On February 6, a new round of negotiations between Iran and the United States took place in Muscat regarding the resolution of the crisis over Tehran's nuclear program.
