Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced on Saturday that the country will never allow itself to be deprived of the right of veto in the European Union.
"The independent position should be evaluated like the apple of the eye. Brussels continues its daily attempts to put pressure on us, and the Hungarian opposition party Tiza announces that it will include Hungary in the common European foreign policy.
This cannot happen. We will never agree to be deprived of the right of veto," Orban said in his speech summing up the year.
