The UN is unable to put an end to the conflict in Ukraine. America's leadership and partnership with many countries were needed to start negotiations, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.

"The UN was unable to put an end to the war in Ukraine. America's leadership was needed, in partnership with the many countries present here today, just to bring the two sides to the negotiating table," Rubio said at the Munich Security Conference.
