"Fact" daily writes:
The visit of Vice President of the United States Vance to a different level has excited both the Kpagan propagandists and Western satellites near the Kpagan, as well as Nikol Pashinyan in particular. It is true that the flashes of enthusiasm began to fade when already in Baku the US Vice President met with Aliyev and made certain statements, some of which were at least dangerous, including the statement about flying over TRIPP. Also, when he edited the post made on his official page about the visit to the memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
And when it became clear that the USA is not actually going to give billions to Armenia, but Armenia is going to give billions to the USA, the enthusiasm, as they say, noticeably died down. In short, US Vice President J.D. Vance came, his visit was actively discussed, government circles made admiring comments, oppositionists - critical reactions, the latter also carried out actions.
But among all this, at least for us, another circumstance was no less interesting. You see, these days the thesis that US Vice President Vance's visit to Armenia was a "PR" for Nikol Pashinyan ahead of the elections scheduled for June has been actively discussed. Vance himself apparently said directly that he was on Pashinyan's side (although, by the way, Pashinyans wholeheartedly worshiped Biden in the last US presidential election). And the interesting thing is that some of those who make such observations or records do not hide their surprise, as if something unexpected happened. Of course, J.D. Vance was supposed to do "PR" and praise Pashinyan before the national elections, even though the purpose of his visit was exclusively to advance US interests and strengthen the American presence in the region.
Of course, Nikol Pashinyan and his pro-foreigner "line" of the government are completely beneficial to the USA. If only because they "set foot" on the very border of Iran, declared an enemy by them, in the face of "Trump's path", not counting the prospect of cutting off Armenia from the land connection with Iran. Moreover, Pashinyan and CP are bringing the plans of Turkey and Azerbaijan to life, fully serving the interests and agendas of the sworn enemies of Armenia and the Armenian people, so much so that Ankara and Baku would not have dared to dream a decade ago.
Well, naturally, they, Baku, Ankara, Aliyev, Erdogan, must be interested in keeping Pashinyan in power at all costs, they will also do "PR" for him, they will give him free gasoline, and if necessary, they will also send policemen and bodyguards. Well, the West, in this case, the European Union and the United States, separately, in their own ways, are promoting, supporting, promoting Pashinyan and his Communist Party. It would be strange if they "didn't get it", because Pashinyan does not spare Armenia to satisfy the interests and appetite of foreigners, only to be helped to keep the power at any cost.
No, none of them are interested in Pashinyan, moreover, it is obvious that none of them accept Pashinyan, moreover, they are not interested in Armenia at all, but at the moment, he is beneficial only to serve their interests at the expense of Armenia, to push Russia out of the region.
Our country has already plunged into the vortex of pre-election realities and pre-election logic. Now even sparrows are chirping with a political connotation, let alone various figures, even foreign ones. So, conventionally speaking, such "Venser" and other propaganda "DJs" will come and go to Yerevan a lot in the coming months. Or if they don't come, they will make a lot of statements, they will try a lot to influence the voters and moods of Armenia.
Please, a whole summit of the "European Political Community" is planned for May. 1 month before the election. It's clear, isn't it, why? That's not how 15 million euros were given to Pashinyan's government to fight against the will of the voters and democracy. Please, Vance came and made statements and left immediately, and the next day the repressive bodies of the Pashinyan regime attacked the oppositionists of Vagharshapat. Probably got a full "dabro" from Vance for the new political crackdown. In short, they will come and go, make promises and "deliver", manipulate. All that is understandable, expected. But in the end, there is the most important question: who will go to the polls on June 7? Who will make the choice and own up to their choice? Collectively speaking, Vance and Kaya Callas aren't going to vote, are they?
Our citizens will vote and make choices. All of us. And when the voter enters the voting booth, what will he think about, what will he remember, what will he evaluate and reevaluate? Will Pashinyan and the Communist Party forget the disasters and disasters they caused in these 8 years? Will we forget the thousands of victims, the loss of Artsakh, subjecting the Armenians of Artsakh to denationalization? Will this attack against the Armenian Apostolic Church be forgotten? Is it possible to forgive the shameful humiliation of national dignity and the denial of Ararat? Is it okay to make fun of the elderly and pensioners? Will Pashinyan's officials forgive multimillion-dollar self-rewards at the expense of taxpayers?
Will we forget the police "bespredel" and throwing grenades at peaceful protesters? Are we going to forget the repressions, political persecutions and persecutions of oppositionists and clergy, are we going to forget that those who support Pashinyan are destroying Armenia piece by piece? So, no matter how much Vance, Callas, Aliyev and Erdogan "friend" Pashinyan, the important thing is something else. What matters is what we think, what we do, how we value ourselves.
Do we want our children, our children, our grandchildren to have a state, a country, a living space to live in, or do we want to become victims of Pashinyan's next adventure, "for nothing", in addition, being deprived of the country, the state, becoming landless wanderers? This is the main thing. And the main task of the political forces is to mobilize the accumulated dissatisfaction and disposition of the society into a mobilized object, to rid the country of Pashinyan's failure.
