The P-8A Poseidon anti-submarine patrol aircraft of the US Navy and the MQ-4C Triton long-range radio-electronic reconnaissance drone flew one after the other for several hours to the southeast of Iran on February 10, according to Flightradar24 aviation resource data.
The P-8A Poseidon aircraft took off from the Sheikh Isa air base in Bahrain. During the operation, which lasted several hours, it flew over the Strait of Hormuz, flying between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
Then, the MQ-4C Triton unmanned aerial vehicle carried out a long reconnaissance flight over the international waters of the Gulf of Oman, near the southeast coast of Iran.
