"Hraparak" newspaper writes:
"On February 9, the Court of First Instance of Yerevan examined the petition of Samvel Karapetyan's defense attorneys regarding allowing a hairdresser to visit their client. According to our information, the pre-trial body did not allow the barber of Samvel Karapetyan, who is under house arrest, to visit their house and cut Karapetyan's hair.
And the lawyers had to go to the court to solve this very important issue. One of Karapetyan's defense attorneys, Arshak Vardanyan, confirmed our information, stating that the court granted their petition, allowing the barber to provide service to Karapetyan twice a month.
"During the detention in the detention center, the barber had free access, but in the case of house arrest, all visits were prohibited, except for a few employees of the house, the barber's part was left open. We regularly appealed to the investigator, the prosecutor - they refused, to probation, they said - it is not in our domain, we forcibly appealed to the court so that the issue could be resolved," added the lawyer.
According to our information, the court held a session of about 3 hours to listen to the parties to make such a difficult decision.
