Musk has promised to pay lawyers for anyone who testifies in Epstein's case

Elon Musk has promised to pay for the legal services of all those who agree to testify in court in the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein.

"I will pay the legal defense of anyone who tells the truth about this case and is the target of a lawsuit," Elon Musk wrote on social media platform X in response to another user's post. He raised the question of why the list of Epstein's clients was not transferred earlier to the US Congress for further publication.

Jeffrey Epstein was arrested by New York state law enforcement agencies on July 6, 2019. Prosecutors said they had evidence that between 2002 and 2005 he arranged for dozens of underage girls to visit his Manhattan home, the youngest of whom was 14.

Epstein's circle of friends and acquaintances included many current and former high-ranking officials not only from the United States, but also from other countries (including former heads of state), big businessmen and show business stars. The criminal case against the financier in the USA was dismissed after his death in August 2019, when he committed suicide in a prison cell.
