"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"According to the information of "Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper, Nikol Pashinyan makes a new proposal related to the pre-election list for the 2026 parliamentary elections of the CP during almost every meeting or initiative session of the CP board. And the CP members naturally agree that they have no way out. Officials in private conversations with "Zhoghovurd" daily state that Pashinyan has made the situation so tense that not a single member of the Communist Party has any idea what future awaits him after June 7.
Even now, CP members are deciding on a new ballot option, with which, according to Pashinyan, they should organize transparent elections within the party. In private conversations with "Zhoghovurd", CP members also complain about the idea of campaigning on Facebook, which, according to CP members, will not help them get elected in any way. Let's remind that it was decided that the persons who are included in the preliminary list of 280 people of the CP have committed to carry out active propaganda on their social platforms these days.
According to the information we have received, the candidates on the list were instructed to present their political goals in a public format, to justify their desire to become a deputy and to talk about their imagined role within the government. It is noted that this process will last until February 12, after which the 1000 delegates of the CP will choose the "top" 50 candidates from the preliminary list.
The latter will already be sent to the next stage, regional and intra-community campaigning, the results of which will finally form the first 50 places on the list."
