The prosecutor's offices of Georgia and Russia have issued statements regarding the extradition of two wanted persons accused of particularly serious crimes.Aliq.ge:According to , Georgia has extradited Russian citizen Nikita Podstavkin to Russia, who has been charged with intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm, which led to the death of the victim. Russia extradited Giorgi Papashvili to Georgia, who was charged with the intentional murder of 22-year-old Tamaz Mtivlishvili.
The Russian Prosecutor's Office reported that "authorities of Georgia have extradited Nikita Podstavkin for criminal prosecution under Article 111, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim)."
