Russian President Vladimir Putin and the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping have expressed their support for maintaining the level of cooperation with Venezuela and Cuba, said Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the Russian President.
Putin and Xi Jinping held talks in video conference format on Tuesday.
"The leaders had overlapping approaches regarding the situation created around Venezuela and Cuba.
They supported the fact that the level of cooperation established by the two countries with Caracas and Havana should be maintained," Ushakov told reporters.
