The territory of Israel will become a legitimate target for Iran if the United States carries out aggression against Iran, because "they are one entity". Ali Shamkhani, adviser to the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic, stated this in an interview with "Al Mayadeen" TV channel.
"Israel and America are not two separate elements, they are one whole," he said, answering the question of what retaliatory steps Tehran can take against Israel in the event of an attack on Iranian territory by the United States.
"If America strikes, Israel will naturally be involved, and our response should be proportionate," Shamkhani emphasized, adding that the scale of the response "depends on their actions and steps."
