Fidan: Turkey is against the use of force against Iran

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that his country is against the decision to resolve the problems with Iran by force and urged Washington and Tehran to sit at the negotiating table.

"The negotiations will also pave the way for the lifting of restrictions on Iran and its integration into the world economic system. These steps will bring significant benefits to all parties. At the current stage, relations should be normalized on the basis of a new agreement. We have repeatedly announced to all our interlocutors that we are against military intervention in Iran.

And we emphasize again that we are against the use of military options to solve problems and we do not think that it will bring much benefit. We are in favor of negotiations and diplomacy," he said during a press conference held in Istanbul, during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
