Cuba has announced that it will not make concessions to the United States

Cuba is not obliged to make concessions and will never discuss them at the negotiating table with the United States, Cuban Ambassador and President of the Cuban Association of the United Nations (ACNU) Norma Goikochea told RIA Novosti.

"Neither surrender, nor concessions, nor any forced or threatened agreement can be out of the question. "Cuba is not obliged to make any political concessions, and this issue will never be discussed at the negotiating table to conclude an agreement with the USA," he emphasized.

Goikochea noted that the threats activated by Washington against Havana in January "generally violate international law and the UN Charter" by the current American administration.
