The peace talks should lead to the signing of two separate agreements: one between the USA and Russia, the other between the USA and Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiha in an interview with "Europeiskaya Pravda", writes Meduza.
"If we are talking about this 20-point framework, it is a bilateral document that the USA and Ukraine will sign. The US should also sign with Russia. This is the framework that is currently being discussed, but the negotiations are still ongoing. it is a process," said Sibiha.
According to him, the European side, whose signature is not expected, is nevertheless "present in the peace process and the agreements on security guarantees". Sibiha added that two controversial issues remain unresolved in the negotiations: territorial disputes and the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.
In order to solve these issues, according to him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
