The leaders of the Kiev regime canceled the elections and usurped the power, while the elections in Russia are held in accordance with the procedure and time limits established by the Constitution of the country, stated the head of the Federal Council, Valentina Matvinko.
"I would like to emphasize that unlike the "Kiev regime", whose leaders canceled the elections and effectively usurped the power, elections in Russia are held within the time limits set by the Constitution," said Matvinko, opening the spring session of the Federal Council.
Speaking about the elections of the lower house of the Russian Parliament in September, the Chairman of the Federal Council also noted that it is necessary to prevent possible provocations and attempts to interfere in the electoral process.
