Venezuela is preparing to settle the differences with the US administration through political and diplomatic channels. This was announced by Delsey Rodríguez, the authorized representative of the President of the Bolivarian Republic, on the air of the Venezolana de Televisión TV channel.
"We have established channels of communication based on mutual respect and courtesy, and a working agenda is being developed based on direct communication with US President Donald Trump and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio," Rodriguez said.
He also announced a "diplomatic dialogue to resolve the existing contradictions on sensitive issues", stressing that these issues should be included in the agenda within the framework of respectful relations between sovereign and independent states accepted in the international community.
