"On the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, the first thing that comes to mind is the people who founded the army in rather difficult and, at first glance, seemingly insurmountable times, became a part of it, established it and created many occasions for pride. This day is another occasion to pay tribute and bow to the memory of our heroes who were martyred in the last three decades while fulfilling the high mission of protecting the motherland.
It should be the duty of each one of us to ensure our contribution in restoring the former role and mission of the army and to pass on to the generations a strong, ideological and fighting army.
Glory to our devotees. Eternal glory to our heroes who were martyred for the defense of the motherland."
