Japan's Maritime Security Service reported that the ballistic missile, allegedly launched from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, has most likely already fallen. After a short time, the department published another message about the launch of a ballistic missile carried out by the DPRK.
"A ballistic missile, presumably launched from North Korea, has already fallen," the agency announced four minutes after the first report of the DPRK's missile launch, while urging citizens to report possible debris to the Maritime Security Service.
Then two minutes later, the service reported the launch of another, presumably ballistic missile.
