This was stated by the representative of the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Esmail Baghai, commenting on the words of US President Donald Trump that many American ships will be sent to the region.
"Any ships sent to the region will in no way affect Iran's steadfastness and determination to defend its sovereignty." Therefore, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are closely monitoring all movements and, at the same time, do not waste a second to strengthen their defense capabilities, protect national sovereignty and the country's dignity," Baghai emphasized during the weekly press conference.
