The southern regions of Lebanon were subjected to massive attacks by the fighters of the Israeli Air Force. at least 23 airstrikes were carried out against land targets. This was reported by Naharnet news portal.
According to its data, the airstrikes were carried out in the mountainous area of Jabbour and in the Wadi-Barghuz gorge, where attempts to restore its own military infrastructure by the Shiite Hezbollah armed group were recorded. Information about the airstrikes was also received from the city of Meidoon, which is located in the West Bekaa region.
There are no details about the consequences of the airstrikes. Earlier, the representative of the Israeli army, Avihai Adri, in a statement in Arabic on the X social platform, stated that the new wave of airstrikes carried out by Israel against Lebanon is aimed at underground facilities used for the production and storage of weapons.
According to him, the activity of "Hezbollah" violates the agreements reached regarding the Lebanese-Israeli ceasefire.
