After getting rid of their apparent dependence on Russia in the field of energy, the European countries have become dependent on the United States, stated the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov. This was reported by Vesti.
In an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, the Kremlin spokesman noted that Europe's dependence on Russia in the energy sector is apparent, as it is mutual. Moscow depends on European countries as a seller, and they as buyers.
Previously, political scientist Alexander Dudczak stated that the transition from Russian gas to American gas only increased the political dependence of the EU on the United States and led to the loss of the EU's sovereignty.
