The United States has asked Italy to join the international stabilization force in Gaza as a co-founder, Bloomberg reported, citing Iranian sources.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said earlier that she will not sign the document of joining the "Peace Council" of Gaza, due to its contradiction with the country's constitution.
