The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, met with representatives of non-governmental organizations in the city of Batman. During the meeting, the minister referred to the topic of "Zangezur road connection". The Turkish Sabah periodical reports.

Uraloglu specifically noted.

"Currently, we are continuing the construction of the Kars-Igdir-Aralek-Diluju railway, which will provide the Zangezur road connection, and the latter will strengthen the potential of the Middle Corridor. Zangezur road connection is planned to be implemented with the construction of relevant sections in the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan, as well as in Armenia and Azerbaijan.

According to Uraloglu, this will make the cargo route from China to Great Britain more efficient with alternative routes.
