The Danish Prime Minister will meet with his Greenlandic counterpart

According to the Danish Prime Minister's office, Mette Frederiksen will leave for Greenland on Friday and meet with the head of the government of that autonomous region, Jens-Frederik Nielsen.

"Prime Minister Mette Frederikse is leaving Brussels for Nuuk today to meet with the Prime Minister of Greenland, Jens-Frederik Nielsen," his office said in a message on the social network.

Greenland belongs to the Kingdom of Denmark. Trump has repeatedly stated that the island should become part of the United States. The authorities of Denmark and Greenland have warned Washington, warning that they expect respect for their territorial integrity.
