Wittkoff's plane is on its way to the UAE

The plane of the special envoy of the US President Steven Wittkoff, which left the Vnukovo airport, is heading to the United Arab Emirates. The source of the air traffic control circles of the European Union informed TASS about it.

"At this moment, the aircraft is already leaving the control zone of the Cyprus dispatchers and is on its way to the United Arab Emirates," the interlocutor of the agency noted.

On the evening of January 22, Wittkoff arrived in Moscow with the son-in-law of the US president, Jared Kushner, where they met with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin. According to Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the President of Russia, the meeting was exceptionally meaningful, constructive and maximally open and reliable. The negotiations, the main topic of which was the Ukrainian settlement, lasted about four hours.

The parties agreed that the first session of the Russian-US-Ukraine tripartite working group on security issues, as well as the session of the Russian-American bilateral working group on economic issues, will take place in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
