The world's oldest image of a hand has been discovered

An outline drawing of a human hand found in the Liang Metanduno limestone cave on the small island of Muna in Indonesia is most likely the "oldest" drawing in the world.

According to a study published in the journal Nature, the red handprint was created at least 67,800 years ago.

One of the findings is characterized by the sharp tips of the fingerprints, which resemble claws, which may indicate the symbolic meaning of the image and ancient ideas about the connection between humans and animals.
