Orban: The "Peace Council" will be able to prevent new military conflicts

Hungary is convinced that the "Peace Council" created at the initiative of former US President Donald Trump will be able to strengthen security and contribute to the prevention of military conflicts in the world. This was announced by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban after signing the document on the establishment of a new international organization in Davos.

He explained that Hungary became one of the founding states of the "Peace Council" because the country "needs peace for further growth and development".

"War threatens everything we have built over the past 15 years. The war brings inflation, sanctions, high energy prices and the decline of the national economy," the head of the government wrote on the X social platform.
