The total amount of military aid allocated by the Netherlands to Ukraine in 2026 has reached 133 million euros, reports NL Times, referring to the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade and International Development Cooperation Aukje de Vries.

According to him, the scale of financing for Kyiv in 2026 has reached this level after the decision of the Government of the Kingdom to allocate an additional 23 million euros to support the energy sector of Ukraine.

The funds will mainly be used to secure gas supplies to Kiev from abroad, restore damaged energy infrastructure and purchase necessary Dutch-made equipment, including generators and cables.

According to the portal's calculations, the Netherlands annually allocates about 3.5 billion euros to Ukraine. About 2 billion euros from the budget allocated for support to Kyiv in 2026 have already been spent in 2025. Since 2022, the Netherlands has already allocated more than 13.6 billion euros for Kiev's military needs.
