The Spanish government will declare three days of official mourning after the tragedy in the autonomous region of Cordoba, Andalusia, where 39 people were killed when two high-speed trains derailed, TV channel Sexta reported on Monday, citing sources.
"The authorities will announce a three-day mourning in connection with the tragedy that happened in Adamus," the TV channel reports.
The accident happened on Sunday at around 19:45 (21:45 Moscow time), when a train traveling from Malaga to Madrid derailed and slid onto nearby tracks.
The train from Madrid to Huelva also derailed.
